The purpose of the immobilizer '''"TELTONIKA IMB5"''' is the prevention of the car theft. 
* The driver is identified when the person with the active paired ID card comes inside the communication area. 
* If the person has no ID card, the immobilizer regards the vehicle is under unauthorized use and transfers the signal for engine immobilization.

If the ID card signal is lost while the ignition is ON (e.g., if the driver is forced out of the car):
# The system starts a countdown (60s or 120s depending on settings).
# The buzzer will warn with increasing frequency.
# Finally, the engine will be immobilized.

If the ID card is lost or the battery is dead, you can disarm the system using your secret PIN code.
