GN7C Installation Manual

The GN7C is an alarm system with built-in sensors designed for vehicles with a central locking system controlled by the original remote key FOB (or Keyless Entry System), featuring a CAN bus and a 12V battery system.

Security Information

  • The system unit must be installed inside the passenger compartment in a difficult-to-access location.
  • It should be placed away from moisture, heat-emitting elements, and sources of electromagnetic interference (e.g., vehicle computers, relay blocks).
  • Avoid mounting the unit directly onto metal parts to prevent condensate accumulation.
  • Ensure wire connectors exit from the bottom side of the unit.

Technical Parameters and Limits

Circuit Maximum Allowed Current
Cut-off circuit (A) 25 A
Indicator relay (K2) 2x21 W
Siren output 2 A
Optional control No. 1 0.13 A
Optional control No. 2 0.13 A
Direction indicators (Left/Right) 7 A each

Installation and Configuration Sequence

  1. Install the Alarm System unit according to the wiring diagram.
  2. Select the vehicle and configure the system using a computer.
  3. Choose the direction indicator wiring diagram and connect them.
  4. Connect additional equipment if required.
  5. Verify system operation and complete the installation documents.

Configuration via Computer

To configure the system, use the GN7C Loader software and connect the unit via a Micro-USB cable:

  • Select the specific car model from the database.
  • Choose the correct CAN bus modification (e.g., "mod 1").
  • Enable CAN bus control and select the appropriate control program.
  • Save the selected vehicle data and settings to the unit.

Direction Indicator Control Options

The system supports several ways to connect direction indicators:

  • Option A: Controlled via CAN bus (no additional wiring needed).
  • Option B: Connected to the Hazard Warning Button with CAN bus monitoring.
  • Option C: Connected to the Hazard Warning Button with analog monitoring (L+ input).
  • Option E: Directly controlled via a built-in relay (switching 12V voltage).

Trigger Identification

The system saves information about the last triggers. After disarming and turning the ignition ON, the system indicates the reason via LED flashes:

  • **2 flashes:** Built-in shock sensor
  • **3 flashes:** Built-in tilt sensor
  • **4 flashes:** Ultrasonic sensor (volume)
  • **6 flashes:** Ignition turned ON
  • **7-10 flashes:** Specific door opened
  • **11 flashes:** Hood opened
  • **12 flashes:** Trunk opened
  • **13 flashes:** Driver not identified

Manual Settings (PIN Code)

  • The factory PIN code is printed on the system label.
  • The Setup Mode is activated for 8 minutes after entering the PIN code.
  • Manual changes can be performed using the Secret Button or the Ignition Key.
