GN7 User Manual

Alarm System designed for vehicles with central lock controlled by Original Remote Key Fob (or Keyless Entry System), a CAN bus and 12V batteries, whose negative pole is connected to the vehicle body. The CAN bus shall be compatible with the Alarm System. Compatibility list can be found here.

1. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Vehicle Alarm System GN7C (Pic. 1) shall be connected to the vehicle 12V DC power supply system and CAN bus. The installation shall be done in accordance with the wiring diagram and recommendations given by the manufacturer of the Alarm System. Proper installation of the Vehicle Alarm System ensures vehicle's operational safety and it shall be performed by professional installers only. The installer must fill up the installation documents located on the Installation Manual!

2. SYSTEM FEATURES

Alarming by the siren and direction indicators. Engine immobilization.

Armed Alarm System detects:

  • Vehicle door, trunk lid, engine hood opening.
  • Ignition turn ON.
  • Impact to car body (depending on model, the pre-alarm and alarm zones recognized).
  • Car body tilt (depending on model).
  • Movement inside vehicle saloon (depending on model).

The user can:

  • Arm and disarm the system by an original vehicle's Key Fob or Keyless Entry System.
  • Change System settings by ignition key or secret button.
  • Enter and leave the service mode (e.g., deactivate the alarm system during vehicle maintenance or in other cases).

3. ALARM SYSTEM COMPOSITION

Vehicle alarm system GN7C consists of a system unit – an electronic module (Pic. 1), which shall be hidden inside the vehicle saloon during installation together with siren, cables with attached connectors, accessories. The Vehicle Alarm System is controlled by Original Vehicle Remote Key Fob or by Keyless Entry System.

4. SYSTEM LED

The system status is indicated by the LED indicator. It provides visual feedback about the alarm system's current state, armed/disarmed status, and potential error codes during configuration or operation.
